Annie Freeman's Fabulous Traveling Funeral hit the bookstores January 31 -- and, as the women in my new novel travel with the ashes of their beloved friend, I am following nearly the same path as I breeze through the country with the books under my arm. No smart woman leaves home without her computer and I will be sending updates on my trip via the reader interaction site here on the site. But you know that because you are already here. See, smart women are all over the place. Many of you have already contacted me about this book, some of you have already read it, and many of you are reading it right now. Please let me know what you think about this lively group of women who are thrown together to mourn and to celebrate the life of their beloved Annie Freeman. I think most of us have an Annie Freeman in our lives -- a strong woman who is a great example, lives every moment to its lively end and is always there for us -- even after her death. My life has been, and continues to be, enhanced by many Annie Freemans and not a day goes by when I do not think of them and what they have given me. I hope this book helps you honor your own Annie Freemans and I especially hope it helps you understand the importance of living. We start here, and end there, and what we do in the middle is called life -- it's a one-shot deal so get out there and do it. Do you hear me?
